  2. BANANAS • Bananas grow in humid, tropical regions • The banana plant needs 10 to 15 months of frost-free conditions to produce a flower stalk that develops into bananas • Bananas don't grow bent, they grow curving upwards • Bananas are the fourth largest fruit crop of the world
