Rules, Rules, Rules… • To form the possessive of a singular noun, simply add ‘s • The monster’s nose The ant’s antennas
Rule #2 • If a noun is plural and ends in s, just add an apostrophe at the end of the word. • The monster s’ noses The ants’ antennas
Rule #3 • If a noun is plural and does not end in s, add ‘s at the end of the word. • The children’s candy The mice’s whiskers
