  2. WEATHER It is the general atmospheric condition as regards to temperature, moisture, wind and air pressure.

  3. Six interacting variables in weather formation • Humidity • Temperature • Pressure • Wind • Clouds • Precipitation

  4. HUMIDITY Water vapor or moisture that currently resides in the air. Hygrometer – It is the Instrument used to measure humidity.

  5. TEMPERATURE • A degree of coldness or hotness of a body or an environment. Thermometer – It is the Instrument used to measure temperature.

  6. PRESSURE • The exertion of force upon a surface by an object, fluid, etc. in contact with it Barometer – It is the Instrument used to measure air pressure.

  7. WIND • Air moving from an area of high pressure to an area of low pressure. Anemometer – It is the Instrument used to measure wind speed.

  8. CLOUDS Visible accumulations of water droplets or solid ice crystals that float in the Earth’s troposphere, moving with the wind.

  9. PRECIPITATION Any form of water, such as rain, snow, sleet or hail that falls to the earth’s surface in a specific period of time. Rain Gauges – It is the Instrument used to measure rain fall.
