  5. Shukshin is probably the most famous person in Altai. • He was born in the village of Srostki. • The most famous of his works are «Kalina krasnaya», «Pechki-lavochki».

  6. Another famous writer is A.G. Bazdyrev • He was born in the town of Kamen-on- the Ob, and went to war in 1941. Then he came back. • His most famous works are «Vesna kolkhoznaya» and «Strana sovetov».
