Invention: Pocket Diaper • This invention got its name because it has a pocket. • Everything need for a diaper change was added. • This invention went to the National Invention America and took 1st place. • Since the invention was success in 1994 at age 8 she joined lengthy tradition of female American inventors. • The invention has a single-use powder puff of her own design, by making a "pillow" of powder wrapped in a dry wipe that she had • Each diaper has a pocket, which holds a disposable baby wipe and baby-powder "puff." With all the necessary equipment in one place, baby caretakers no longer need to gather an assortment of items for a changing.

Inventor: Chelsea Lanmon • She is a resident of Hampton Texas. • She has been an inventor for seven years. • At age five she helped her mother change her brothers diaper. • Her invention went threw trail and error an succeeded • Lanmon was invited to make a special appearance at the 1997 Emerson -MIT Awards Ceremony in Washington, DC, where she shared the stage with Douglas Engelhard and Gertrude Elion • She won first prize, and as a result, while still in kindergarten, she was featured in numerous newspaper and magazine articles, and appeared on national television talk shows • For young aspiring inventors, Chelsea has this advice:
