Tips to Effectively Incorporate the PE Process at your Hospital • Become a Qualified Provider • Encourage OB’s and partner clinics to become a Qualified Provider • Offer Hoosier Healthwise follow up assistance (QP’s and enrollment centers may offer enrollment assistance to get supporting HHW verification documentation to DFR) • Track PE enrollment effort to measure effectiveness of your process • Re-train PE enrollment staff as needed (Contact EDS or CKF-IN to help coordinate trainings)

Health Coverage Handbook: Hospital Edition • A document compiled by CKF-IN and its partners outlining promising practices around the issues of outreach, enrollment and retention • Tried and true practices designed to help hospitals streamline enrollment process while generating revenue and decreasing otherwise uncompensated care • Handbook will be available to hospitals for a nominal fee and include free updates
Hospital Service Product Line • A line of services currently in development at the request of IHA offering consulting services to hospitals • Services include analysis of patient management process, recommendations for improvement and evaluation of success
