  1. St Patrick was born in Cornwall (some say Scotland!) in 385 A.D.

  2. He became a priest

  3. He went to Ireland to teach people about God.

  4. Some say he drove all the snakes out of Ireland.

  5. Others say he used shamrocks to teach about the Trinity

  6. He died March 17 in 461 A.D.

  7. Leprechauns are unfriendly and possess a pot of gold.

  8. If you find a Leprechaun, you can trick him into showing you his gold.

  9. But if you don’t watch the leprechaun very carefully, he and the gold will disappear!

  10. Today Americans march in parades…

  11. Dance the Irish Jig…

  12. Dye rivers green…

  13. People wear green in memory of Ireland

  14. Some also wear Clover/Shamrocks.

  15. If you find a four-leaf clover you will have good luck.
