Our new Drama Studio • We are having a new drama studio built • We are all looking forward to using it next year
Our Timetable • We have five lessons every day all of one hour each • We also have two breaks they are 20 minutes each but we don’t have a lunch break • We start at 8:30 am and finish at 2:30 pm
Prideaux-Brune • Our school takes its name from this famous local family. • The school is built upon land once owned by the family • The family crest has as its motto, TOUJOURS PRET • This means “always ready” and is now the motto of Brune Park Community School
RBLC • The RBLC stands for Resource Based Learning Centre • In here there are 35 computers they are all connected to the internet • We have a library with a wide range of books
Sports • We have 2 gyms, a sports hall, swimming pool,football and hockey grass pitches and tennis/netball courts. • In years 7 to 9 girls and boys do different sports separately. However in GCSE PE is mixed!
Sports Achievements Netball Yr 11 won the area championship for the 5th consecutive year Cross country Year 8 girls won the area championships Badminton Charmane Webb Year 11 plays for Hampshire Gymnastics Sam Smith, Sasha Dennet and Diane Evans represent Hampshire
More Sports Achievements Triathlon Steven Norman Football A Year 9 pupil has been chosen to represent Hampshire Hockey A Year 11 pupil plays for Gosport and Fareham Year 8, 9 and 10 pupils play for Gosport teams Swimming Charlotte Davey, Shaun Brooker, Katy Coe, Edwina Giles,Matthew Dugaurd,Michelle Shawley, Natalie De la Mare and Danielle Ash all swim for Gosport
OtherAchievements • Brune Park has also won many awards in Rock Challenge; a dance competition held yearly. • Two pupils won the Science and Technology fair finals in Hampshire. • Pupils represent the school in Public Speaking competitions. A few pupils took part in a recent Web-page Designing Competition.

Tourism • There is lots of tourism in Gosport. • There is the seafront and museums including the Gosport museum which is about Gosport's history .
Shopping The CBD of Gosport is the high street. This includes shops such as:New Look, Woolworths and Argos.On Tuesdays and Saturdays there is a market.(This is where you get things cheaper!)
Forts One of Palmerston's Follies, built in the 1850s to defend Portsmouth Harbour against threats of a French invasion. Central exhibition explains Palmerston's plans to defend the key naval port. New for 1996 is the Gosport Aviation Heritage Museum which is dedicated to the development of the Royal Air Force. Car park and gift shop. Open: April to September weekends only 10am - 6pmAllow 1 - 2 hours to visit
