Tk20 Adoption Planning • Planning Committee • Spring 2008 – Summer 2008 • Internal & External Stakeholders – CAS, PCL, SoE, Academic Affairs, ITS, Supervising Teachers, Principals, Faculty & Staff • Reviewed 3 systems - Interviewed several institutional representatives across nation • face-to-face visit with one institution • Established “roll-out” plan (phased among programs and functions within system) • Course Based Assessments – Courses common across programs that meet accreditation recommendations
Course-Based Assessments (Key Assignments) • 6-8 common courses across programs within department • Informed students, faculty, bookstore, etc. • Identified lead instructors • Collected and input existing rubrics • Data analysis for one semester • Changes imminent
