  5. Credit Response • Each change made to a credit check will result in a notification to the school • Unless there is NO loan on file • Best practice is to always create a loan • This way you know if a credit status changes from denied to accepted

Credit Response • Order of how a parent/student/endorser completes things may mess up how credit response files are delivered • Where is the completed credit counseling? • Request a new credit file on COD • Why does credit counseling show as completed under counseling search and not in the loan? • Jiggle the loan on COD
