Conflict • At the age of sixteen Billy gets into a bar fight, and gets arrested, so the police do fingerprints on him to see who he is finding out that he is missing for five years.
Rising Action • Billy Finds out that he has been kidnapped and has been missing for five years.
Climax • Which family will Billy choose to stay with, and which man will he choose to be his father. Will Billy ever forgive his father for taking him or not?
Falling Action • Billy’s biological father Bill keeps saying bad things to Billy about the Campbell family, saying that the were not looking hard for Billy when he was kidnapped.
Resolution • Billy finished high school, and he decided to stay with the Campbell family because Billy felt like he was losing his mom, Ceclia, and his dad Dave.

Summary • A ten year old boy named Billy, was kidnapped from a baseball game, by a man who was his father. But he never met his father, and Billy lived with his adoptive family, who he grew up with. When Billy was sixteen he got into a fight at a bar in New Mexico. Billy gets arrested and is taken to the police station where he finds out that he has been a missing child. Billy ‘s father convinced him that his foster family didn't want him and wont trying to find him. Billy step-father who is his legal guardian for the last ten years comes to Iowa to see Billy to get him back to the family he belongs to.
Author Information • Laura Roybal was born in Des Moines, Iowa. She always loved to write since she was a kid. In 1975 she moved to Pecos with her husband to a ranch, which she writes all the time. She as written books like Billy, Dear Bobby, and many more.
Recommendation • I would recommend this book because, Its teaches you how to forgive anyone that hurt you in the past. Billy finds it in himself to forgive Bill Melendez for kidnapping him and telling him things about the Campbell's and trying to fill his head with lies about them.
