What is Diagram X??? • The objective of this activity is to complete a given diagram by naming the blocks and lines in it. • The facilitator can guide the learners by giving clues. • Finally, from this activity; the learners can come up with the title of the block diagram.
Rules: • The class can be divided into 3 teams (Team A, B, C) • For each question, the respective team should nominate a leader; who will finally give the answer. • The team members can discuss among themselves at any point of time. • For each question, 3 clues will be given for the team; in which, the last clue will be the beginning letter of the answer. • The scoring can be as follows: • 5 Points (for no clues) • 3 Points (for 1 clue) • 2 Points (for 2 clues) and • 1 Point (for 3 clues)

Just to have an idea of the questions framed, the sample clues for Block 1 is shown here.
Clues for Block 1 • This is the heart of any embedded systems. • It can perform arithmetic and logical operations. • It starts with a letter ‘C’ Answer: CPU
Similarly, questions for all the blocks can be framed incorporating the proper clues for each. • Finally, we can show the complete architecture of PLC to the learners.
