  3. Jobs in Egypt Egyptians had many different jobs, such as farmers,priests,priestesses,guards and soldiers. They could even become members of the pharaoh’s court! All jobs were helpful in money,but very painful if you work all day long as a farmer. Click here to return to contents

  4. Homes in Egypt Homes in Egypt were quite hard to make. You would need loads of mud bricks , baked in the sun.

  5. How Egyptians lived. • Egyptians lived by earning food and money by working day and night so they could make a living out of it.

  6. Egyptian Home This Egyptian house is made out of mud bricks, dried in the hot, Egyptian sun.

  8. Farmers Farmers lived in small buildings or cottages near the River Nile, and although they all worked very hard, nobody knows if they earned any money or not.

  9. Soldiers • Soldiers would work for the pharaoh and guard him • so he would not die, and if the pharaoh would die , • the soldiers would sacrifice their lives for him.
