What’s New in Our Department? • We develop over 60 new courses every Flex Start date. • We have members on all of the RioLearn SMEGs. • Our Course Lifecycle has been nominated for an AQA award. • We are currently in the process of enhancing our training process and collecting data for a Knowledgebase web page for our department to refer to.
Example of Customer Astonishment A member of our department has built a tool, the Lifecycle, in SharePoint that has allowed us to keep track of the course development process of all courses and has provided proficient data to track the progress of the courses. The Lifecycle has helped us to organize data and has allowed Instructional Designers, Graphic Designers and Course Production to exchange data, stay informed of changes and check the course development status. This tool has been extremely effective for not only our department but for other departments as well. The Lifecycle has recently been nominated for an AQA award based on the positive impact it has had in tracking the production of the courses that are offered at Rio Salado College.
