Challenge! • Build a tele-operated mobile robot capable of: • Moving around quickly • Without Wheels! • Be faster than your peers • Optional: Cross a hurdle
Hurdle? • Wheels won’t cut it here • Although if you are sufficiently clever they probably could, but don’t do it! • So you’ll need to try something else!
Demo- Time Trial/Mobility • For demo day, we would like you to: • Race through a predetermined course as fast as possible to demonstrate mobility. (“Time Trial”) • There will be a shortcut with 2 hurdles that may help significantly cut down on your time. • The top 4 fastest teams will have a chance to face-off for that ever desirable 100. • Try your best not to hit any walls
The Hurdles • 2” hurdle that is ok to touch • Will be rigid enough to not tip over.
Constraints • Robot must not have any wheeled locomotion • Also no treads • 12” x 12” x 18” size constraint • Robot will be Tele-operated
