  3. Shared understanding of the intent of this initiative • Unique experience for student and parents for living in India • Focal point for good ideas • Mission connection • This year’s plan to date: Harsha Dehejia, Malavika Sarukkai, Madhur Jaffrey, Samhita Arni, etc..

  4. Assemblies • Presentations • Workshops • Curricular suggestions; connections, etc... Initial format ideas for you to weigh in on what that should look like:

  5. Structure for vetting ideas...planned and impromptu • Criteria: • Connection with the curriculum restructuring/Service Learning/ Strategic Plan (End Result) • Alignment with our mission and core values • Scheduling viability • Cost • Audience (wide or specific)

  6. Structure for vetting ideas...planned and impromptu • Criteria: • Unique opportunity • Art, culture, history, science, technology, dram, etc… • Contemporary affairs and policy • Insightful and engaging communicators • Age and constituency appropriate choices

This is an organic process that is just getting started: • Just because we have a good idea, it won’t always fly.. • Pilot this year • Possible strategic end result in the future • Ideas come to Indira, Joanna, or Paul and they meet monthly • Paul will take ideas to relevant teacher, leadership team, etc…

  8. Some challenges we’ll face • Budget (sponsored events) • Visibility • Public relations • Logistics

  9. Where do you see yourself able to contribute? • Planning • Hosting • Idea generation • Connections • Regular meetings with pilot team
