  3. The Graduate School was established in 1932. Currently, approximately 1950 students are enrolled in four colleges/divisions: Engineering Humanities Science Social Science During the 2009–2010 academic year, the University awarded: 387 Master’s Degrees 163 Doctoral Degrees

Who Are Our Graduate Students? • 25% are married, 17% are parents • 37% are women • 10% are historically underrepresented students • 29% are international students • 85% live off campus • 44% self-identify as Roman Catholic • 28% list no religious affiliation Median Age: 24 Average Age: 26 Age Range: 20-65

What Can You Do? • Use inclusive speech and print • When hosting an event that Graduate students are welcome: “All Undergrad and Grad Students welcome!” • Practice not just theory • Programs and events may be in place, however inclusivity needs to be in all facets including language, services and programming • Get to know this VALUABLE population on campus! • Ask a Grad student to introduce your next speaker
