Inquiries from GSA • Operating Cost • FY09 active assets to FY10 inactive or excess assets – Why did the operating cost not decrease? • FY09 inactive to FY10 excess assets – Why did the operating cost increase? • FY09 inactive to FY10 inactive assets – Why did the operating cost increase? • FY09 excess to FY10 excess – Why did the operating cost increase? • Explain increase in operating cost for under-utilized assets • Why did operating cost significantly increase for leased assets

FIMS Data Analysis We will do similar types of analysis prior to the FRPP submission Focus on any numeric variance more than 25% from previous year Sites should begin looking for these types of conditions prior to our year-end analysis Continue to use the Notes field to record explanations for Admin Corrections, Other Dispositions, or any other noteworthy info
Data Quality Concerns • Land • Focus on ownership, acreage • Leases • Cool Roof • Planned Cool Roof date must reflect fiscal year when cool roof technology will be completed. Should not reflect a prior year. • Only input Vegetative, Reflective, or Photovoltaic GSF when the technology is in place • New records were added 1 or 2 days prior to the year-end snapshot • Archiving next fiscal year assets prior to year-end snapshot
