Name: Belinda Azucena Garcia Corrales • Money was given to pay for her books for weekend studies • There are also 2 other women and one boy doing this • Her goals are to finish school; she is currently studying at grade 8 level. She hopes to finish school so she can help her children. Every 2 months they have tests. She is 31 years old and a single mom of 2 boys- aged 8 and 5 and two girls- age 12 and 10. She has been struggling with her marks due to personal situation at home. She hopes to help her children get a better education. She says there are many others like her who need her help and she has been helping the others to write letters to apply for assistance from our committee. Last year this program started with 7th grade and this year they have opened it up to grade 8 and 9. The problem is buying books @ 900 limp or $50 (US). Sometimes she has to work but she does not have a job so she buys and then sells things
