Purpose of this Evening To outline: • curricular structure S1 - 6 • S3 curriculum • choices for S2 pupils • support and process to personalise curriculum • progression beyond S3

6 Entitlements • Coherent curriculum from age 3 - 18 • Broad General Education to the end of S3 • Senior phase (S4 – 6), offering opportunities to gain qualifications and develop 4 capacities • Opportunities to develop skills for learning, life and work • Focus on literacy, numeracy, health & wellbeing • Support in moving into positive sustained destinations.

Supporting Learning Designed to add breadth to the curriculum and Support transition to the Senior Phase. 2 aspects to this part of S3 curriculum: • Master Class programme – rotation of 3 • Supporting Learners programme.
Supporting Learning Master Classes • Broad range of skills would be covered in each Master Class programme • 3 Master Classes over the year • Pupils will indicate preferences from a number of “set menus”.

Supporting Learning Supporting Learners programme: • Led by Guidance team • Pupils will set targets and reflect on learning • Support to move into Senior Phase • Supports the preparation of the S3 Profile.
