  2. Effective July 3, 2011 Seattle, WA will no longer be a homeport for OMAO. ALL WM employees with a Duty Station of Seattle will be required to change their Duty Station Only WM employees on Seattle based ships with a Duty Station of Seattle are entitled to Permanent Change of Station (PCS) Overview Outline

Overview • All other WM employees will be required to change their Duty Station, however PCS is not authorized • When selecting a new Duty Station the selection should be one of our home ports nearest your residence. This is the location that you will be returned to for QOL travel. • All duty station changes will be effective NLT July 3, 2011

  4. This Change in Duty Station is a one time change and is being required due to the MOC-P Transfer of Function to Newport, OR. All employees with a Seattle Duty Station will be required to select a new Duty Station. • Any future change in Duty Station will only be authorized when an employee is officially reassigned or promoted to a new position.

  5. Employees are not eligible to change their Duty Station for any other reason.

  6. What to expect • WM employees on Seattle based vessels will be issued a memorandum in January 2011 requiring them to select a new Duty Station. The memo will provide employees with their entitlement to a PCS move and will include a CD-150 that must be completed by the employee.

  7. Employees have up to 2 years to complete their PCS to the new Duty Station.

  8. PCS Entitlements • Shipment and storage of Household Goods (HHG) • Mileage for the entire family • Miscellaneous Expense Allowance • Real Estate Expenses • Relocation Income Tax Allowance (RITA) • House Hunting Trip • Temporary Quarters 30 Days

  9. PCS Requirements Before you incur any relocation expenses, you must have • A completed and signed CD-150, “Request for Authorization of Travel/Moving Expense” • The CD-150 must be completed first and serves as your service agreement to remain in Government service for at least twelve months, and a • A completed “Relocation Expense Worksheet” • Along with an authorized Travel Order • Employees must use the NOAA Relocation Travel Form which includes all three required forms
