Learning Strategy of UNDP The goal of learning at UNDP is to strengthen our knowledge-based organization so it is consistently recognized for excellence in development advocacy and advisory services. The results of our learning efforts must enhance the capacity of our global development network as it advocates for change and connects countries, partners and clients to knowledge, experience and resources. Our policies and practices are intended to support an environment of ongoing personal and organizational renewal, excellence in development practices and continuous innovation.

Objectives • Create a greater awareness of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and its implications • Gain an understanding of the various strategies and tools that can be utilized to enable progress towards the MDGs. • To enable JPOs to link their day-to-day work with overall vision, strategies and policies of the organization in respect to the MDGs realized through an action plan. • To facilitate experiential learning of collaborative processes to work effectively within Team structures. • To provide an opportunity for JPOs to meet and network with colleagues and Resource people.
