Famous Polish women. History of Polish women’s rights. In 1918 women got suffrage . Many years ago Polish women couldn’t go to the University. Finally in 1894 they could study there . They couldn’t occupy high positions . Polish women coldn’t marry foreigners .

  4. Maria Konopnicka She was a Polishpoet, critic, novelist and activist for women’srights and Polishindependence.

  5. Irena Sendlerowa She was a Polishsocialworker and humanitarianwhoserved in the Polish Underground during WW II and she was a head of the children’ssection of Żegota.

  6. Wisława Szymborska She was a poet, translator, esseyist and recipient of the 1996 Nobel Prize in Literature.
