  1. How to memorize the Quadratic Formula in less than ten minutes. Repeat the following aloud as the symbols appear. “x equals negative “b” plus or minus radical “b” squared minus four “a” “c” all divided by two “a” ________________________________

  2. This time the quadratic formula will appear with symbols deliberately deleted. You are to repeat the formula aloud and include the missing symbols wherever you see the question mark Go for it!

  3. This time more symbols will be deleted from the quadratic formula.Your challenge is to correctly quote it aloud and make certain that you include all the missing symbols. If at any time you are not sure, refer back to slide #1 GRRRRREAT!!!

  4. And one more time. Remember to correctly recite the quadratic formula making certain to include all the missing symbols denoted by the question mark. By now you should have memorized the Quadratic formula It’s now time to apply this formula

  5. The coefficient of is “1” The coefficient of –5x is –5 The constant term is -24 You will now use the quadratic formula to solve the following quadratic equation Therefore a=1, b=-5 and c=-24

  6. Solve the following using the quadratic formula. Before you determine what the values for a, b and c are, make certain that the above equation is written in the following form: a=2 b=-3 c=-5

  7. Determine the values for a, b and c for each of the following quadratic equations. Now apply the quadratic Formula to each of the above problems and the answers are Great, Bravo, Ciao
