  4. Carlton Fisk • Carlton Fisk (born 1947) Fisk was born in Bellows Falls, VT and grew up in Charlestown, N.H. During his first year as a starting catcher for the Boston Red Sox he was named Rookie of the Year, was elected for the American League All-Star Team, and won the A.L.'s Gold Glove Award.
