2. 1. Do you know where the student union is? • We asked 37 students the above question. These are their responses. The responses we received show that a majority of randomly selected CSU Stanislaus freshmen know where the University Student Union Building is located.

3. 2. Do you know what it offers? We asked 37 students the above question. These are are their responses. From our results, it is apparent that although most CSU Stan Freshmen know where the USU Building is, they do not know what it offers.

4. 3. Do you use it? We asked 37 students the above question. These are their responses. We found that most students do not use the USU Building. This is probably due to the fact that the majority of them do not know what it offers.

5. 4. What would you like to see added to the student union? • 20 out of the 37 students surveyed said they do not know what could be added to the USU Building because they do not know what it offers to begin with. • The remaining 17 students suggested the following: • More computers • Better/second lounge • Movie theater • Free printing • More activities • Another restaurant • More Field Trips

6. Overall Analysis • For our data collection, we asked thirty-seven CSU Stanislaus Freshmen a series of four questions about the University Student Union Building. From our responses, we learned that a majority of students know where the building is, but very few know what it has to offer students. We received some useful ideas of what could be added to the USU Building to make it more inviting to students. However, many students did not what could be added because they did not know what was already offered. This could be due to a lack of advertisement from the Union, as some students stated.
