  2. LeBron James Summary • My project is going to be about a phenomenal athlete named LeBron James who started as a kid with some problems but not many. He didn’t have a stable home and things like that were embarrassing to him and made him frustrated but he finally found a way to release it and it was through sports.

  3. Ordinary world • LeBron's Ordinary was moving from house to house not being in a stable home and his mother dealing with many personal problems.

  4. Call to Adventure • LeBron at an early age began to show much talent in basketball and football. He used this to let out his anger and use his intelligence

  5. Meeting the Mentor • Frankie Walker • Coached LeBron during his first year of pee wee football and after the season he heard that LeBron missed a lot of school. He confronted his mother and LeBron began to live with him

  6. Crossing the threshold • In sixth grade LeBron took his AAU team to 6th grade National finals in Utah.

  7. Test, Allies, and Enemies • LeBron took his AAU team to the 8th grade finals in Florida. They won 5 games straight and then lost to the Southern California All-Stars 68-66

  8. The Ordeal • When LeBron had to play against Oak Hill Academy during a tournament. During this time Oak Hill was the nations top-ranked prep team. LeBron and SVSM entered the contest undefeated. Oak Hill barley beat SVSM for a 79-78 victory

  9. Reward • After the tournament loss SVSM stormed through the state playoffs and won a second title and LeBron was the first Sophomore to me named Ohio's Mr. Basketball

  10. Road Back • Went back to state finals for a 3peat but failed losing to Roger Bacon 71-63 • Finished the year • Averaging 28 points • 6 assist • 8 rebounds • Named national player of the year

  11. Resurrection • Being selected in the first round by the Cleveland Cavs and having a great rookie season.
