This tool kit provides professional resources to inform and educate property managers, businesses, hotels, restaurants, and multifamily properties in Fairfax County about environmentally sound waste disposal, renewable energy production, emergency response, pollution prevention, and community engagement. The tool kit includes information on refuse collection, recycling, and the countywide recycling rate. It is designed to inspire managers to implement further actions and create a positive impact on waste management.

Environmentally-Sound Disposal 20 tons of solid waste is transported and disposed of every 10 minutes (about 1,000,000 tons per year).
