  2. Where is Woodlands Camp? Near Streetly Crematorium, north west of Birmingham. About 6 miles from school! Drive to the end of Bourne Vale, watching out for the road humps.

  3. What do you need to bring? • 5 sets of old clothes with your name on. They will get dirty and wet. • Trousers only, no dresses or skirts. • Large and small towels. • Night wear and toiletries. • Indoor and outdoor footwear. A torch. • Sleeping bag and pillow (if you have them). • Any prescribed medicines with the signed medical form. • A small amount of money - change for the telephone and tuck shop. No mobile phones for children. Parents, please do not phone the site.

  4. When can parents visit? • Not on Monday please! • Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 7 and 9 p.m. • Thursday is barbecue night.

  5. Food glorious food? • All meals are vegetarian - no meat. • Please do not send perishable food with your child. We will give them plenty of healthy food to eat. • If you do send sweets or crisps, please use a labelled carrier bag..

  6. Travelling times • You will be given a departure time. Please do not come early or late. • Children will phone home on Friday after 11:30 to be collected by an adult. (They should be dry by then!)
