  1. Final Shoe Critique Objective: You will analyze the shoe that you drew in order to evaluate how your composition has improved. DRILL: • How can you get your shoe to stand out from the background? • IS there enough contrast? (difference between the background and the shoe) • Critique will happen in the last 15 minutes of class. • Take advantage of your time. • Grade yourself on critique sheet, then tape it to the back of your artwork.

  2. GRADE YOURSELF!!! Name__________________________

  3. Hang your shoe artwork on the board: • Tape a number up next to your artwork. • Artworks will go on front board. • Tape critique sheet onto the back of your artwork

  4. Critique Questions: • Which artworks have a good composition? Why? • Size2. View3. Placement • Which shoe contrasts its background? • Which shoe is drawn well? Contour lines and Value. • Which background attracts you and why?

  5. Take artwork down. • Make sure that your name is on your artwork and the critique sheet. • Tape critique sheet to the back. • Place into TO BE GRADED BOX.
