Snow Day. By Will Apperley VI-PJB. Silently they slip down Fluttering in the breeze Laying themselves all over the lawn Into place with ease Every snowflake wears a smile As it tumbles to the ground And just the same, all the while The children sleeping sound.

The morning, we hear a sigh Look out with delight As even way up very high Tree tops painted white Crunch, crunch, crunch On the path outside Many feet, bunched Some by the slide.
I say goodnight to the snowman, As the footsteps are replaced Take off my gloves to warm my hands, Hot chocolate warms my face.
