  3. Quick Write: An ominous storm is approaching your neighborhood on a Saturday afternoon. Write a descriptive paragraph showing how everyone is scrambling to prepare for this storm. Writing Skill: Use vivid sensory details in your paragraph.

  4. DAY 2: Read the following word: ostentatious: - adjective. lavish; fond of display; intended to attract notice - The fashion magazine article criticized the designer’s recent collection for being too ostentatious.
