Last year Safe Routes Philly received a grant from the National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) to implement pedestrian safety education in schools near high crash intersections. • This year we are prioritizing schools that are within ¼ mile of 9 or more child pedestrians being struck by a driver
Walkability Audits Assesspopular routes around schools noting traffic, infrastructure, and neighborhood safety concerns to help determine the safest routes to school for parents and children.
