  2. Step 1 – Create the Idea • Think about what kind of film to make • Think about the plot or the storyline of the idea • Envision the film in your head

  3. Step 2 – Design a Picture Plot • Draw the film on paper • Make a box for at least every scene • An example of a Picture Plot

  4. Step 3 - Filming • Consider things like setting and lighting • Try to get the best audio possible • If possible do not move the camera unless it is necessary

  5. Step 4 - Editing • Some ways edit film are to use a specialized video editing machine such as a screenplay • A film can sometimes be edited with the camera • Films can be edited with a computer with special software such as Nero, Adobe Premiere Pro, Roxio, and Movie Maker • Organize the film • Edit the clips to suit the film • Refilm if necessary

  6. Step 5 – Final Result • Finish editing • View the video in its entirety • Make any final changes • View it again • Back it up on a hard drive or some other storage device • If desired burn it to a disc to watch as a movie
