Ruling 2009 – Oberlander appealed • Statedhewasconscripted and had no choice but to serve with theNazis 2010 – Federalgovernmentdeniedhisappeal; - Oberlander does not meet the criteria for servingwhileunderduress
Ruling Citizenshipwasrevoked a third time and as of December 2012 isawaitingdeportation back to Germany (News Story)
