Attention: GHOST WRITER Web Site Resources: The Best Aid for Cheating?
What is the so-called ‘Ghost Writer’? • Ghost writer means to write a book for another person especially some celebrities,or to write an essay for person who need it especially some college students. • The ghost writer can capture the essence of the celebrity or the college courses and they can make a better job than the celebrity or the college student as a professional writer. • In a word, ‘Ghost’ means “鬼”, means“幕后的”、“秘密的”. ‘Ghost Writer’ means “枪手”or“代写者”. This appearance of the Internet raises the issue: • Is this new technology making cheating more widespread? • Of CourseNOT. • The truth is, that students who are inclined to cheat are going to cheat regardless of the technology . • Compared to the benefits web site resources bring to us, the disadvantages can be almost overcome. Then where’s the strategic point? That is Social Media VS Ethics Debates on ‘Is using an academic ghost writer dishonest?’ are heated.
SUPPORTER: • Yes, I absolutely believe that using an academic ghost writer - or, more accurately, a professional essay writer - is dishonest. Assignments test more than knowledge; they test a student's ability to communicate that knowledge effectively, and one significant component of communication is the ability to write. If a student must work in tandem with a ghost writer, then that student is essentially admitting that he or she lacks the ability to communicate knowledge in written form. • I should say at this point that I feel particularly qualified to address this question because I am a freelance writer, and I have ghost-written material for a number of professionals over the years, including speeches and newspaper op-ed articles. I have never ghost-written material for a student, and I never will because it is, quite simply, cheating. The student is turning in work he or she didn't complete personally and attempting to fraudulently earn a grade for that work. Submitting an essay written by someone else is no different than having someone else sit an exam for you; it's lying, plain and simple, about the quality of your accomplishments. • The reality is that the overwhelming majority of universities consider the use of professional essay writers to be academic fraud. It's not enough to simply know certain material as a student; you must be able to present your knowledge coherently.
OPPOSTER: BACK • It's not cheating, if the school has you spend hours in class learning how to "outsource" when you're out in the real world and most colleges these days teach that very "skill". When you learn all the ins and outs of selecting just the right company to do work that you cannot do or don't have time to do, and you plan the essay, it's not cheating. • Some of our customers are busy professionals, with jobs, spouses, a child or two, and a need for a degree or an additional degree. Many of our students are quite high up the ladder in their companies, and need the degree to remain competitive. Many times we can tell that our clients could write an incredible paper, if only they had the time. There's nothing wrong with hiring someone to do the base research and write a draft, if the student is quite capable of doing the work themselves. • If I had a choice of spending sleepless nights trying to write all the papers required in a typical degree program, while neglecting my children and my job absolutely. I'd hire the company I work for in a split second. I'd read the paper thoroughly, ask questions if I needed to, make sure I understood every word, check it for plagiarism, and turn it in with a clear conscience. And I'd be glad I had someone's expertise to depend on.
Then what are the causes behind these appearances? In our opinion, the following factors are of the most importance. • Students don’t work hard enough as they should. They don’t treat their studies seriously. • Teachers’ and professors’ connivance encourages this appearance. • Internet provides a convenient platform . • The legal system is not perfect. • The drawbacks of our Educationstill exists.
