What would you classify the company’s marketing position to be? Justify your answer. • Domino’s market position is that they are the world’s #2 pizza delivery chain. They have more than 8,800 delivery locations in more than 60 countries.
What are the key marketing objectives of the company? • Domino’s prides itself on quality customer service in a timely manner. To improve on its service, Domino’s wanted to allow customers to place their orders and receive updates on delivery times via their mobile devices.
In your view, does the marketing strategy adopted by the company appear to help them to meet these objectives? • I think it does appear to meet the objectives because the world is getting more cell phone oriented and Domino’s is trying to making their delivery process more through the mobile phones.
What are the main market segments the company appears to be aiming at? • The main market segments that the company appears to be aiming at is people that have enough money to spend to eat out and buy Domino’s pizza.
What type of market structure does the company operate within – How do you think it might affect their marketing strategy? • Domino’s market structure is to be the best pizza because they just remade their whole pizza taste just to please the customer. It keeps their market strategy the same because their strategy is to pursue the customers as the best tasting pizza.
