GROUP OF « NATIONAL EXPERTS » Focused on the other requirements (see work programme STF(12)9) • Mutual recognition of boat master certificates • Reduce experience by using simulators • Local knowledge requirements • Medical fitness • Specialisation modules for specific ships 2. Mutual recognition of other qualifications • Already achieved when based only on work experience • Could be pursued when obtained through a combination of work experience and exam organised by administration (sailors, machinist, safety staff on-board passenger ships…) 3.
