  3. “I Wonder as I Wander” “…the law is binding on a person only as long as he lives? For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage…she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress .” Romans 7:1b-3

  4. “I Wonder as I Wander” “…(v7) if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin…(v8) But sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness…(v11) For sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment deceived me and through it killed me. (v12) So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.” Romans 7:7, 8, 11, 12

  5. “Joy to the World, the Lord is Come” “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water…(v11b) Where do you get that living water?...(v13) Jesus said to her, ‘Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him

  6. “Joy to the World, the Lord is Come” will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.’ The woman said to Him, ‘Sir, give me this water, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water.’ ” John 4:10-15

  7. “Joy to the World, the Lord is Come” “ ‘…the hour is coming and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship Him. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.’ The woman said to Him, ‘I know that Messiah is coming. When He comes, He will tell us all things.’ Jesus said to her, ‘I who speak to you am He.’ ” John 4:22-26

  8. “Go, Tell it on the Mountain” “So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people, ‘Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?’ They went out of the town and were coming to Him…” John 4:28-30

  9. “Go, Tell it on the Mountain” “Many Samaritans from that town believed in Him because of the woman’s testimony, ‘He told me all that I ever did.’ ...‘It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is indeed the Savior of the World.’ ” John 4:39-42
