2. procedure words „This is…“ This transmission is from the station whose designation immediately follows. „from…“ The originator of this message is indicated by the address designation immediately following.

3. procedure words - example „EB this is BL, ….“ or „EB from BL, …“ „EB this is BL …over“ BL this is EB, ... roger“ or „From EB, ... roger“

4. procedure words „over“ This is the end of my turn of transmitting. A response is expected. „roger“ I have received your last transmission satisfactorily. „out“ This is the end of my transmission to you. No answer or acknowledgement is expected.

5. procedure words „message“ I have an informal message for you. „send“ Go ahead with your transmission.

6. procedure words „message follows“ a formal message which requires recording is about to follow „send your message“ go ahead,transmit, I´m ready to copy

7. procedure words - example „53 from 0, message follows, over“ „From 53, send your message, over“

8. procedure words „wait“ a short delay. „wait - out“ I must pause longer than some seconds, and will call you again when ready.

9. procedure words - example „53 from 0, execute next VCP in – wait…..H17, over“ „UN 639 from 0, what is is your local position? over“ „ 0 this is UN 639, wait-out“ „ 0 this is UN 639, local position is ….. over“

10. procedure words „say again“ Repeat all of your last transmission. „say again all after/before…“ Repeat all of your last transmission after/before….. „I say again“ I am repeating my transmission.

11. procedure words „read back“ Repeat the entire following transmission back to me exactly as received. „I read back“ The following is my reply to your request to read back.

12. procedure words „speak slower“ Reduce the speed of your transmission. „I read back“ The following is my reply to your request to read back.

13. procedure words „wrong“ Your last transmission was incorrect. „correct“ What you have transmitted is correct, you are correct

14. procedure words „correction“ An error has been made in this transmission. „UN 639 from 0, proceed to checkpoint 2 – correction Checkpoint 3, acknowledge, over“

15. procedure words „acknowledge“ confirm that you have received my messsage and will comply. „WILCO“ I have received your message, understand it, and will comply

17. When you request for a radio check, you ask: what is my signal strenght and readability radio check
