  1. Projector lamps on a average would last for about 2000 hours and hence when it used for business purpose, 8 hours a day 5 days a week, the projector lamp must last for at least a year. Most of the projector lamp makers provide a RTB assurance for 3 months on new lamps at the time of purchase.

  2. A qualified professional who knows every thing about projector lamps should be engaged to change a new lamp into the projector housing. While replacing the lamps the terminals should not be over tightened because the ceramic insulation of the bulb can get damaged. At the same time the bulb should be fixed loosely as spark may be produced on the terminal, making excessive load on the ballast which may lead to breakdown of the lamp.

  3. The procedure for replacing the projector lamp may vary based on the manufacturer. Hence the instruction manual should be used and followed carefully to replace the projector lamp whenever necessary. In the instruction manual the set by step procedure will be given to replace the new lamp in the module.
