GSI REQUIREMENT FOR TRAINING IN RESPECT OF SPATIAL DATA MINING SYSTEM IN ONTARIO PROVINCE 1.The aim of the training is to develop a multipurpose Co-operative Spatial Data Management Information System (SDMIS), where decision makers, stake holders and public can avail multithematic data such as geology, geochemistry, geophysics, metallogeny and land cover –land use etc. 2.Both step-1 and Step-2 as suggested in the comments and feedback can be taken during a workshop consisting two senior scientists from Mission -3(Geoinformatics) and one from Ministry of Mines for a week in Ontario and evaluate the best model suited to India
3.The timings and the agenda of the workshop can be discussed later after approval in principle by both sides. 4.A three year pilot project on mineral rich Rajasthan can also discussed during the workshop in Ontario and Ontario can share it’s expertise related to geospatial infrastructure in developing SDMIS in Indian context. 5.During the workshop , a meeting with CAMIRO and DMRC can be arranged in order to develop some research Projects for exploration of concealed and deep seated mineral deposits in India. The Projects are :
