2. How will you get paid? UTEP employees are paid in two different ways
If you are SALARIED � you are paid on a monthly basis
1st working day of the month
If you are HOURLY � you are paid twice a month
Approximately the 5th working day of the month
Approximately the 15th working day of the month
Remember working days do not include weekends or holidays � count carefully on your calendar.
3. How will you receive your check? Go green! Payroll office offers two different options to UTEP employees to receive their paycheck
DIRECT DEPOSIT � which automatically credits your bank account (checking or savings) with the amount of your paycheck. Fill out a simple form and provide a bank routing number or a voided check from your check register to the Payroll Office located in the Administration Bldg room 303.
PAY CARD is a visa debit card that automatically deposits your funds to the card each payday. You may obtain this card by filling out a form provided by the Payroll Office.
4. Payroll Documents Online You can find Payroll Documents online. Enjoy the benefits of going green.
UT Direct (requires high assurance EID)
Access current and past earning statements
Online W-2 for each year since 2001.
Print W-2�s two weeks before payroll distributes them!!!

6. Student Health Insurance Plan The UT System approved comprehensive health insurance plan, provides basic coverage that meet standards required by the United States Department of State Regulations.
