The Roman Colosseum was built out of brick, concrete, with stone covering the exterior.
The Colossuem, in downtown Rome, is one of the most famous surviving architectural marvels of the Roman Empire.
It is a HUGE reminder of the long and rich history of the Italian peninsula.
