BEFORE YOU WRITE A RESUME • Know the organization • Review the mission statement • Review the job description • Write your resume with job in mind • Include volunteer and extracurricular activities related to job
THINGS TO DO • Cover Letter • Synopsis of qualification & accomplishments • Employment applications completed in entirety • Be truthful • Use Spell Check • Check yourself before you wreck yourself • Social media language • Professional email addresses
