First South Korean Women To Climb Up All The 14 Highest Mountains By. Lynn Cho
What?? A South Korean women climbed the14 highest mountains on Tuesday April 27th. She climbed up a mountain called Annapurna this time and the mountain was 8,000 meters high. After climbing all 14 highest mountains she said that she isn’t going to climb mountains anymore.She tried to climb Annapurna last year but she went back just hundreds of meters away from the top because of the bad weather. Snow and wind mostly stopped her from going up.
Who?? • A south Korean women who climbed all the14 highest mountains. Her name is Oh Eun Sun and she is 44 years old. She finished climbing the 14 highest mountains and the last mountain that she climbed is Annapurna in the Himalayas. After coming down from the top, she was broadcasted live in south Korea by KBS television.Everyone was proud of her and she was very popular in Korea after climbing mountains.
What She and Other PeopleSaid She was breading heavily after each step in the Korean broadcast KBS. But after finishing climbing the mountains she said that she is so happy, and she would like to share this joy with other people saying thank you. And the president Lee Myung-bak sent a congratulatory message saying that people are awakened to her great spirits of challenge. And he said that she is really great and he’s proud of her. The president of the association AngTshering said that we recognize her achievement as the first women to climbed up all the highest mountains in the world and we are all happy and proud of her achievement.
