  2. Who invented Machu Picchu? The construction of Machu Picchu was started by the order of the Inca Emperor named Pachacuti.

  3. Why did they builted Machu Picchu? Inca legend relates that Pachacuti ordered the construction of machu picchu to celebrate the defeat of Chancas, A powerful rival ethinc group.

  5. REAL reason why Machu Picchu was abanded Machu Picchu was really abanded at that time because cost of maitinece was prohibitive as epidemic, and war of depleted the remaining of male population.

Here are some fun facts about Machu Picchu • In the Quechua Indian language “Machu Picchu” means “Old peak” or “Old mountain” • Machu Picchu is made up of more than 150 buildings from baths and houses to temples and sanctuaries • Although many of the stones that were used to build the city were more than 50 pounds , it is believed that no wheels where used to transport these rocks up the mountain , Rather it’s though that hundreds of men pushed the heavy rocks up the steep mountain side.
