Let’s Look at Both Sides of the Conflict • We will be doing a WebQuest in order to examine the US and Cuban government viewpoints of the conflict. • Follow the steps of the WebQuest Assignment. • Then use what you have learned in the WebQuest to write your own newspaper article.
Requirements for Newspaper Article • Your article can appear in either a US or Cuban newspaper. The article should reflect the opinion of the nation’s government • The article is to appear on April 18, 1961- the day after the attempted invasion. • Provide your readers with background information and explain events that led up the invasion. • Include images (2-3) that will accompany your article. • Your article should also have a title and follow the format of a newspaper article. The article should be 300- 500 words.
