  2. A Velcon Filters, LLC PPF-466-110 Plate Pack Frame is shown in this demonstration.

  3. In order for the PPF system to work properly the vault must be clean and free of water and oil. A 466-SPA vault is shown in this demonstration.

  4. Locate the PPF on a firm flat area near the vault it will be installed in.Be sure the weirs are facing the inlet to the vault. Fiberglass top weir Cork side weirs Vault Inlet end

  5. Remove the packaging attached to the top channel. It contains the items used to secure the PPF in the vault. PPF Mounting Hardware PPF mounting components

  6. Before lowering the PPF into the vault, you need to form the cork side weirs to curve forward as shown in the detail view and temporarily tape or strap them in this position. Remove the tape of straps Only after the PPF mounting hardware is securely in place. The weirs will relax against the vault wall to form the seal. Detail View

  7. Predetermine the location the PPF will be in the vault before you start lowering it into the vault.

  8. The PPF will be lifted, located, and lowered into the vault by the cables located at the top of both side frames. Lifting cables
