In 2004, the new Lions Environmental Photo Contest showcased the beauty of nature.
Every Lion can enter a photo of: • animal life • plant life • an urban/natural landscape • weather phenomenon • A special annual theme
Club contests can be organized during September, October, November, or December club meetings.
The winning club-level photo is submitted to the district-level competition.
January 15 is the deadline for districts to submit one winning photo as an 8” x 10” (20.3 x 25.4 cm) print to the multiple district contest.
March 1 is the deadline for multiple districts to submit one winning photo as an 8” x 10” (20.3 x 25.4 cm) print to Lions International Headquarters.
International convention attendees judge the photos. Winners receive engraved awards. The winning photos appear on the Lions Web site.
